In order to continue practicing the ESG principles of green and sustainable development and actively fulfill social responsibility, Leading Intelligent Equipment (LEAD) organized an environmental team building activity with ESG as the theme during the employment training period for the 2024 graduates, aiming to deeply instill the concept of green and sustainable development into the hearts of the new generation of LEADers and embark on a new journey of sustainable development.
During the training period, nearly a hundred new LEADers walked out of the office and came to the community park to participate in volunteer activities such as picking up garbage and cleaning up manhole covers after rain. Walking among the green mountains and clear waters, every time I bend down to pick up a piece of garbage, it is a tribute to nature, “said LEADer, who participated in the event. LEADers hold pickups and garbage bags and venture deep into bushes and paths, searching for plastic bottles, cigarette butts, plastic packaging paper, and other garbage in the park. Together, they become guardians of the forest and experience the significance of environmental protection through practical actions.
In the indoor training session, the new LEADers were divided into two groups to brainstorm around the concept of sustainability and jointly design and create a community model that embodies the concept of sustainability. From large green spaces and trees, to office and residential areas featuring green buildings, every detail reflects LEADers’ vision and pursuit of a green home.
This ESG themed environmental team building activity is a microcosm of Leading Group’s practice of corporate social responsibility and sustainable development over the past 20 years. In 2017, Leading Group supported the education industry in Wuxi and established a 10 million yuan “Wang Yanqing Education Scholarship Fund” at Xishan Middle School in Jiangsu Province, encouraging more students to pursue their dreams and bring glory to the country. From 2019 to 2020, Navigation Group provided educational support to several universities including Harbin Institute of Technology, established scholarships, and donated over 200000 yuan annually. Starting from 2021, LEAD officially launched the “Wang Yanqing Scholarship” program, covering more than 300 students from 7 key universities including Tsinghua University and Harbin Institute of Technology, with an annual reward of over 500000 yuan. In 2024, LEAD will once again fulfill its original intention of assisting disadvantaged children and establish a long-term assistance project for impoverished children in Yichuan County, Yan’an City, planting more hope for the future of countless students.
